in October 2003. With the vast experience of the Rao family in
the travel industry their name is synonymous with quality service.
The main promoter of the company Mr.J N Rao with over 45 years
experience is the senior most in the travel agency business in
Gujarat. His experience in this field is comparable to none. His
stints with the national domestic airline, leading international
airlines, leading General Sales Agencies of foreign airlines and
as an Executive Director of a leading IATA approved agency in
Ahmedabad has given him an exalted position in the travel industry.
He has also been the past Chairman - Travel Agents Association
of India (TAAI - Gujarat Chapter)
The Co-Director of the company Mr.Uttej Rao has over 20 years
of experience in the travel industry and is well known for his
job prowess and excellent services. After having served leading
international airlines he joined Jetair Pvt.Ltd. in Ahmedabad
and later on shifted to Vadodara on a promotion as an Area Manager,
where he had carved a niche for himself in the art of personalized
services. It was his stint in Vadodara which attracted a leading
business house to appoint him as the General Manager to their
concern in Ahmedabad where he successfully served them till he
opted to venture out on his present dream project.
The Co-Director of the company Mr.Utpal Rao with over 15 years experience in the Consumer Durable Industry in India and abroad joined the family controlled business to make a success out of this venture.
Ever since its inception J N Rao Travel Consultancy Pvt.Ltd. has grown beyond everyone's expectations. Since Oct'03 the time of its inception the total domestic and international ticketing sales has been increasing by leaps and bounds. Aside from the usual ticketing we have successfully operated group and individual package tours to Egypt, Mauritius, Switzerland, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Europe and even to Canada & the USA. Our personalized counseling for visas to various countries has resulted in a very high percentage success and is well appreciated by the traveling public. This could be achieved since each department is headed by a family member hence the personal interest.
We are one of the leading tour operators from Gujarat having vast experience for inbound and outbound tours. We have successfully been conducting many a domestic package tour in the past to various locations in India and especially to Gujarat. We have been offering special packages to Dwarka for devotees of Lord Krishna from South India. This special tour to the final abode of the Divine Lord at Dwarka during Janmasthami was a grand success. The tour that we introduced was the first time ever to be organized in such a grand scale by Air. As nobody had ever attempted to do such unique tours, we with our vast experience and local knowledge of the place ensured all the devotees had a life-time experience!!!

Our Director Mrs.Meera Rao who is a retired teacher of Mt.Carmel with a teaching experience of over 25 years conducts classes on the English language only. With the ever increasing need for mastering the language of English we professionally ventured into teaching Basics of the English language with a team of dedicated and committed faculty and course counselors. These courses help aspirants wishing to go abroad be proficient in the language. These courses are well appreciated amongst the student traffic and the demand is increasing.
Mrs.Soummya Rao an authority on IELTS coaching, is one of the first and few British Council certified trainers in Gujarat and heads the IELTS coaching department. An IELTS certification is mandatory for students and possible migrants to USA, Canada, UK, Australia and other countries. A good graded certificate of this course enhances the aspirant's scope of admissions or migration abroad. She was earlier working with a leading Canadian immigration company in India as their Territory Manager.
